Amigó 42 Studios is Abel Boquera’s creative recording and production space in Barcelona, built around real instruments: Hammond B3, Leslie speakers, Rhodes, Clavinet and vintage keyboards.
Week to week it’s a place to practise and rehearse, to host sessions with other musicians, to track albums and to develop productions for other artists. Dozens of players have passed through over the years; many of my current projects took root here or keep growing between the same walls — alongside recording and mixing engineering, Hammond lessons on real instruments, masterclasses and organised remote keyboard work.

In-person Hammond organ lessons in Barcelona, on real instruments, with two Hammonds in the room: you play a real Hammond while I teach from the other one.
This is the main and most distinctive offer: you sit at a real Hammond organ with Leslie speaker, drawbars and expression pedal, while I teach from another Hammond in the same room.
We work on touch, registration, time feel, trio language, walking lines, blues and gospel phrasing, soul-jazz repertoire and improvisation — always through the electromechanical sound itself, not only through theory about it.
